I've ordered takeout here a couple of times so far and I highly recommend their breakfast burritos; it's not overly huge but it's the right portion size to get you through the morning without much food coma. Their potato salad tastes pretty standard, but it's the breakfast burrito that is my favorite Overall, prices are decent, credit cards are accepted, and there's plenty of parking

What a cute little place! I was picking up some lunch for a friend and I and she suggested here. It was my first time here and they were so sweet! We both got the chicken paninis on sourdough and some of the lychee lemonade. The service was prompt and our food was delicious. I will definitely be back!

My friend found this place online when we were just looking for a lunch spot to meet at in Brea. It is very cute, and you can tell a lot of thought is put into the look and into the menu and food and drinks available. The young woman who took my order at the counter was very friendly and sweet. I got the half salad/half sandwich combo, with Asian chicken salad and a chicken pesto panini. It was very tasty, and I ate it all up, so I don't have a photo unfortunately. I was also pleasantly surprised that the worker even came by to refill our water - not typical in a counter service restaurant, but it made me feel like they were attentive and valued us as customers. They also serve breakfast all day, and there were a lot of other things I would have liked to try. Will consider going back if I'm nearby. Just a heads up, though, that it's pretty small, so definitely a better option for just a pair of people dining together and not a big group.

GREAT place! I can definitely see why their average ratings are so high... Super friendly and thoughtful, went out of their way to be kind when we brought an elderly parent there with us. The breakfast sandwich on a croissant was excellent. Homemade chipotle aioli was one of the best I've had, and although I'm not normally a sprout fan, it worked very well. Everybody else loved theirs, homemade salad dressing was great, sandwiches and soups as well. Then they warmed up the chocolate chip cookies we ordered to cap it off. All that, and less expensive than most places these days - especially for this high quality. We'll be back. :-)

I was in the area looking for a peaceful place to grabe a bite and coffee while reading my book I loved people's reviews about the quality of the food / coffee and the sweet family that owns the cafe I came on a Tuesday morning and was served right away. Lox bagels are usually my go to - this one was great, containing capers, red onions, and cucumbers too on a fresh everything bagel My chai latte was refreshing and they added some cinnamon on top It was definitely a peaceful place to be and I felt the warm vibes right when I entered

This is a very quiet place to enjoy good fresh coffee that is family run. The people are beyond freindly! The bagel was so fresh and the ice tea so good. They have lunch besides breakfasts.

Carmel Cafe is a little cafe nestled in an industrial part of Placentia. My friend and I needed a quick lunch so we settled on this tiny little gem. The cafe itself feels very homey and they're also Asian-American owned! The staff is extremely friendly and welcoming and their menu is affordable as well as delicious. It's great for a quick lunch or breakfast; I settled on a breakfast sandwich and I thoroughly enjoyed it! The bean sprouts were a nice addition as well as their house dressing. I recommend coming here if you're ever in the area or if you're a CSUF student looking for a quick lunch! :)

The first time I tried this place was maybe two years ago and I've been twice within the past two weeks and I plan on becoming a regular! Yes, it's that good! Here's what I have tried: **Breakfast Sandwich: You can get this with either bacon, pork sausage, or turkey sausage so I went with pork sausage. They also offer three types of bread so I went with wheat. You can either have it as is or toasted so I got it toasted. Everything was delicious and it was packed with toppings. Delicious! (5/5) **Breakfast Burrito: You can get this with either bacon, pork sausage, or turkey sausage so I went with pork sausage. Easily one of the best breakfast burritos you'll ever have at a small mom and pop shop like this. The house-made salsa is also very delicious. (5/5) **Breakfast Panini: You can get this with either bacon or sausage so I went with sausage. It's cooked perfectly and every topping is so fresh and delicious. By far my favorite item on the menu! (5/5) **Passionfruit Jasmine & Pomegranate Green Iced Tea: The tea base is really good here. It's not too bitter and at the same time, you can taste the quality of the tea. I like my teas unsweetened and you can definitely taste the flavors. I hope to try all the flavors eventually. (5/5) **Hazelnut Latte: I got this as a hot beverage and less sweet. No complaints at all, just some good quality coffee. (5/5) I've been here four times now and everyone that works here is so friendly and has a great attitude. If you dine-in, they'll stop by often to make sure everything is good. If you're taking out, they make sure to keep you company with awesome vibes. I love love LOVE this place. It's a very clean little restaurant and the ambiance is very nice. Prices are very fair but if you have a large appetite like me, I would probably order some extra items on the side. I highly recommend this place. It won't disappoint. Enjoy!

The cutest little cafe shop . It gives me warm cozy vibes, and the staff are truly the sweetest. They are so tentative and caring to each individual who walks in. I had the lox bagel with a side of hash browns, and a sugar free hazelnut latte. I truly enjoyed the lox bagel! The only downside is that their don't have wifi but I still feel like you can get decent work done here since it's not too loud.
